The Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal - 2026 is being introduced for admission into all UG Programmes in Assam State Universities for academic session 2026-27 under the Department of Higher Education Assam.

Important Notice — Second Merit Round Admissions

Admission offers for the Second Merit Round have been issued to all shortlisted candidates, and the respective merit lists are now available on the admission portal in PDF format.

Acceptance of Second Merit Round Offers

Candidates who have received an admission offer in the Second Merit Round may accept the same from 9:00 A.M. on 10th to 12th June, 2026.

Cancellation and Re-admission

Candidates who were granted admission in the First Merit Round and have also received an offer in the Second Merit Round may cancel their existing admission and opt for the new offer.

This cancellation facility will be available from 9:00 A.M. on 10th June to 5 P.M. on 12th June, 2026 .

⚠ Important Condition

Candidates who were granted admission in the First Merit Round but have not received any admission offer in the Second Merit Round are not eligible to cancel their First Merit Round admission and their existing admission in the first merit round shall continue to remain valid.
